There is no application fee required for Chemistry applicants. The chemistry department will pay this fee. Select "Check" for payment type during the online application process but do not send a check to the university.

The Chemistry Department normally provides support in the form of teaching assistantships or fellowships for all incoming students. The TA stipends range from $22,000 to $24,000, not including tuition and medical benefits, which we also pay. Several fellowships are available that pay over $31,000. It is important to note that this support is available only for students interested in obtaining a Ph.D. degree. We do not require students to have a masters' degree prior to applying to our Ph.D. program.
